Home Ground: Bridge End, BD24 0BU. For directions, click here.

One Club, One Ambition:

Bridge End is a prestigious footballing venue. #SUAFC supporter or not, football purists must recognise that our home ground is steeped in history and is held by many in the Ground Hopping circles as "one of the most iconic grounds in the UK".

Our iconic ground at Bridge End has been home to us since we were founded in 1884. Despite a couple of necessary stints away in other locations across Settle, we are extremely proud to play our football at this beautiful ground.

Adjacent to the curving River Ribble (yes it does cause us flooding problems from time-to-time) and overlooked by the Settle to Carlisle railway line (watch us if you're going that way on a Saturday), Bridge End is steeped over by the start of the Yorkshire Dales rolling hills.

We are extremely proud to welcome all away teams and their supporters, as well as having many ground hoppers come to check out our teams and our ground throughout the course of a season. If you're visiting, keep us posted on social media as we love seeing your shots of our ground.

Often used for county cup finals, we are admired by many teams in the area for our quality playing surface.

Ground Development:

We are working hard towards funding the construction of our brand-new and state-of-the-art clubhouse facilities at Bridge End which will improve what we currently have (despite it's iconic trips across our pitches when we flood, the green changing rooms need improving).

Getting To Bridge End.

By Car: Please use postcode BD24 0BU if travelling by car and using satellite navigation.

By Rail: Settle train station is a short distance from Bridge End. There are a few ways you can walk down to the ground, however the most convenient would be to walk into the town centre and then follow the road all the way through it and past the Coop garage. Carry on straight down until you reach the river bridge, cross over and turn into the ground on your right hand side.

By Helicopter: Whilst not an official landing pad, there is plenty of space around our ground to land a helicopter. Use the school fields and then walk across this to reach our ground. Many fans choose executive travel arrangements to see us, so we thought it worth mentioning.
